Initial Enrollment Period

When you turn 65, you get a seven-month window to sign up for Medicare. This window starts three months before your birthday month, includes your birthday month, and extends three months after. Signing up during this time guarantees you can get coverage regardless of past health conditions.

Annual Enrollment Period

Every year from October 15 through December 7, you can switch or adjust your Medicare coverage. Insurance carriers change their rates, drug coverage list, and doctor networks each year. Reviewing your plan during this window keeps your coverage aligned with your current doctors and prescriptions.

Your Enrollment Timeline Matters

Signing up at the right time helps you avoid unexpected coverage gaps and lifelong premium penalties.

Medicare Supplements (Medigap)

These plans pay after Original Medicare pays its share, helping pick up deductibles and copays. You get predictable out-of-pocket costs and the freedom to see any doctor in the country who accepts Medicare.

Medicare Advantage (Part C)

These plans combine your hospital, medical, and often prescription drug coverage into one plan managed by a private company. Many plans include added benefits like vision or dental, using local networks of doctors.

Prescription Drug Plans (Part D)

Original Medicare and Supplement plans do not pay for your retail prescriptions. A standalone Part D plan covers your daily medications and protects you from late-enrollment penalties.

We work for you, not a single carrier

Single-company agents can only sell you the specific plans their company offers. As an independent agency, we look at plans across multiple insurance carriers to match your specific doctors, medications, and budget.

Our help costs you nothing extra because insurance carriers compensate us directly if you decide to enroll. You get personal assistance before, during, and long after you pick a plan.
